Lea has had the privilege of playing at many beautiful weddings across the west coast of Scotland and further afield. Locations such as the Isle of Skye and Eilean Donan Castle are some of his favourite places to play.
Lea spends his summers performing at various weddings and other events throughout Scotland although the vast majority of the work is in the Highlands, particularly the Isle of Skye. He has a vast repertoire of traditional and contemporary Scottish and Celtic music and is quick to learn any requests. As well as the bagpipes, Lea is skilled at the flute and tin whistle - both provide a little lighter musical accompaniment within the ceremony, such as during the warming of the rings. Being an excellent composer, Lea can also write a unique tune for a wedding to be performed at the ceremony, a copy of which can be made available in print. Lea is flexible, able to travel to whichever location, and happy to fulfill any desires or needs of the client. Although most of Lea’s work is based around the Isle of Skye and the Scottish Highlands, he can travel through Scotland and abroad if desired.
